Mastertapes is a BBC Radio 4 series in which John Willson talks to leading performers and songwriters about the album that made them or changed them.

In the first of a three-part series made for BBC Radio 4 Extra, John goes behind the scenes of the iconic BBC studios at Maida Vale in London where over 40 episodes of Mastertapes were recorded.
