Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the look out for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
Christine has brought in a case of unusual medical equipment, which comes with a very distinctive smell. Simon quickly works out what it is, but Christine decides to keep the dealers intrigued by inviting them to examine the case – and its unusual whiff – for themselves. Next, Julian is selling a fascinating folk instrument, and Nigel has lined up a musician to play a tune for the dealers. There's a perfume bottle being sold to help a three-legged rescue dog, and Ann wants to sell a statuette that bears the hallmarks of the famous Capodimonte style from Italy, but will the dealers agree that it’s original and old enough to be worth big bucks?
Today's dealers are Jane Cave, Tash Francis, Adi Higham, James Gooch and Ian Humphries. Show less
