Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the look out for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First up is Louis, with two interesting bits of machinery that turn out to be vintage diamond cutters. Second to sell is Adam from Peterborough, who has brought in an ornate pocket watch. It’s an enchanting piece, but isn't working, so whoever buys it could face a big repair bill before they can sell it on. The third lot is a set of drawers brought in by Gillian, who is convinced that they are collectible because they are inspired by Scandinavian design that is back in fashion at the moment. Finally, Martin from London is selling a hodgepodge of hidden treasure that comes with a fascinating story. He bought a piece of furniture and, when he moved it, heard a rattling inside. Closer examination revealed a hidden compartment containing silverware, an ornate pen and a propelling pencil.
Today's dealers are Adi Higham, James Gooch, James Broad, Lucy Ryder Richardson and Tash Francis. Show less
