Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to five professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
Today, Carl from Stoke has brought in a key that turns out to be not quite what it appears. Alice, from Wales, is trying to sell an unusual item: a moulded model advert for men’s underwear from the early 20th century. Naz from Halifax has brought in a harmonica that she wants to sell so she and her young son can have a holiday, and Sharon from Hellsby tries to interest the dealers in a Victorian silver belt. It’s an item that immediately catches their eye, so can Sharon push the bids up to and beyond Simon’s valuation?
The dealers in today are Adi Higham, James Broad, Ian Humphries, Lucy Ryder Richardson and Tash Francis. Will any of them spend, and if they do, will any of them match – or even top – the valuation placed on each of the items? Show less
