Lockdown music series that came at an extraordinary time in our history. The series gave musicians, deprived of playing live concerts, a virtual stage and an opportunity to perform directly from their homes to viewing fans.

Musicians from Scotland, Ireland, Europe, Canada and the US connected with fans to perform in a visceral way, appealing to feelings as much as intellect.

This episode has many highlights, including versions of Calum Sgaire and Cànan nan Gàidheal performed by Karen Matheson with an international cast of musicians. Karen also performs with Galician musicians Xabier Diaz and Guadi Galego on a traditional Galician song.

An innovative musical format, Julie Fowlis | Ceòl Aig Baile gives music a new platform.
