Today, Kate Humble and Ben Fogle are back at Longleat Safari Park. They join the keepers who are trying to save some of the world’s most endangered species as the tale of two cheetah cubs continues. The carnivore team spend a gruelling 24 hours trying desperately to keep one of the precious cubs alive. After sadly losing the battle, the team are dealt another devastating blow as they discover the remaining cub has also been abandoned by mum Wilma. Can they save this little baby before it is too late?

Meanwhile, at the giraffe house, it is tense as Ella prepares to give birth. Having abandoned a baby in the past, the keepers nervously await the birth of her latest arrival. Will the young calf meet the same fate as its sibling, or will Ella step up to the plate and be the doting mum the keepers know she has the potential to be?

Across the park in Jungle Kingdom, the keepers were previously forced to step in at the meerkat enclosure to stop the brutal bullying of Smeogal, a young female. Jean Johansson catches up with the keepers to see how she has been getting on since their family intervention and discovers there is an age-old reason why she has fallen out with her mob! And finally, Kate pays a visit to Animal Adventure to meet some tiny new arrivals. Show less
