Now fully settled into their new life by the sea in Puducherry, the group celebrate Susie’s birthday. Hoping to make it a night to remember, the senior citizens decide to throw a party, inviting local friends along too.

Wanting to buy a special outfit for her big day, Susie takes style guru Zandra along to Puducherry’s fashion district, while the men pay a visit to a French-influenced cafe to try to purchase a cake for the birthday girl. Keen to show off her acting and dancing talents at the party, Britt learns an ancient classical Indian dance and puts on the performance of the trip.

Celebrations out the way, the senior citizens venture further afield to the city of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. It’s a trip down memory lane for Zandra, as she gets to witness the craftsmanship of the local men and see their exquisite embroidery up close, as well as a chance to meet an old friend from 40 years ago.

At Chennai’s famous cricket ground, Henry relives some difficult memories of his last ever overseas broadcast. He also gets a taste of Chennai’s vibrant nightlife and shows that age is no barrier as the men hit the town together. Show less
