Scotland's Home of the Year

Series 2

Grampian and the Central Highlands

Duration: 27 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC ScotlandLatest broadcast: on BBC Scotland HD

Architect and teacher Michael Angus, renowned Glasgow-based interior designer Anna Campbell Jones and globally recognised lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers scour the country for Scotland’s Home of the Year.

This episode sees them visiting three homes in Grampian and the Central Highlands, where Michael has a hallelujah moment in a converted Victorian church to the west of Muir of Ord. Next, the judges bask in the stunning views at a mixed-material self-build near Insch, where every aspect of the home has been designed around family life.

And last to be considered is an old Manse house just outside Brechin, where the judges discover the beautiful decor designed to pay homage to its reverent past. Each house is marked out of ten, with the judges looking for unique, well-designed and much-loved homes. But only one will make it through to the final. Show less
