In this episode, we follow Amardas as he celebrates the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi with his family. Amardas attends the Punjabi school where he learns all about the festival and why it’s important to Sikhs. After learning all about Vaisakhi, Armardas heads home to help his mum cook delicious treats for the big ceremony at the Gurdwara. Once he arrives at the Gurdwara, he begins by helping to lower and clean the flag; the Nishan Sahib. When the flag is clean, Armadas joins his dad on stage to drum and worship. Here we join Armardas as he tells us about the five ‘K’s and why they’re important to Sikhs. Show less
