YolanDa Brown and her house band, the Band Jaminals, entertain an audience of children - the Band Jammers - with live music and special guests.
YolanDa gets everyone moving with Animal Bop, a song that gets the Band Jammers dancing fast and then standing completely still.
YolanDa welcomes the Skints to the Band Jam. The Skints love experimenting with different musical styles, and one of their favourite styles is reggae because they love to jam - just like YolanDa and the Band Jammers!
YolanDa and the Band Jammers play a game – they spin a wheel to choose a particular instrument that the Skints then jam on.
The Fact Jam then further explores reggae music, and we find out about a very famous singer called Bob Marley who has sold more reggae albums than anyone else!
The Skints perform their song Learning to Swim before being invited by YolanDa and the Band Jammers to take part in the Big Band Jam at the end of the programme.
Next there's a short film that follows Band Jammers Destiny and Archie as they meet musician Imogen Heap, who shows them some very snazzy musical gloves.
Then it's time for YolanDa and the Band Jaminals to perform with the Skints for the Big Band Jam, and everyone gets moving as they play the song My Boy Lollipop. Show less
