The team create a pair of memory-filled gardens for two widows. Anita, 82, lives in Fallowfield in Manchester, and has been nominated for a garden rescue by one of her seven granddaughters. The garden used to be Anita’s late husband’s pride and joy, but now Anita is too old to keep the shrubs and the plants from running out of control. However, she would love the garden to be as good as it used to be, so she can enjoy her evening gin and tonic outside.
Meanwhile, 40 miles up the M62 in Wallasey, Sue is in equal need of helphaving moved back home from Thailand after the deaths of her husband and her mother, she has settled in a home that she feels she can make a fresh start in. But the garden is a sad concrete waste of space, far from suitable surroundings for the memorial roses and garden statue she has installed in honour of her late husband and mother. Show less
