Hogmanay Ceilidh 2019 is live from Motherwell Concert Hall in Lanarkshire, hosted by Cathy Macdonald and Niall Iain Macdonald.
We open our doors to an array of stunning Gaelic singers and musicians providing ceilidh craic and a sensational playlist to take you through the bells and into 2020.
Performing live will be Peat and Diesel, recently crowned winners of the best live act 2019 at the Scots Trad Music Awards ceremony in Aberdeen. Also playing will be Mànran who celebrate 10 years together in 2020 and are joined by Kim Carnie in her first TV appearance as part of the band, Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band, Margaret Stewart and the Alba Choir, along with a first foot who has a truly ‘Gàidhealach’ connection to the area.
Cathy and Niall Iain will be wishing you a hundred thousand welcomes as they lead the shindig through midnight into the wee small hours. Tune in live to the ceilidh and raise a glass with us at the bells as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome in the New Year. Show less
