The Mod returned to Glasgow for the first time since 1990 and the week got off to a great start with the children’s competitions. The singing competitions began on Monday with primarily young learners to the fore while the following day, the competitions were aimed at native speakers. A selection of winners from both of these days will be shown including the winners of the James C MacPhee medals, Aimee Georgeson and Archie Kennedy. Also featured will be the young girl and boy who won the Comunn Gàidhealach Silver Medals, Jessica Hanvidge and Alec MacDonald.
