Episode 10

Duration: 58 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Scotland HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Scotland

We've done the ten! It's the final episode of the year of A View from The Terrace tonight and what a way to say goodbye to 2019.

In 'It's Only Week 14' the boys make some big statements to bow out. Joel says Hearts are deep in a relegation battle and Craig Telfer argues that there's not much difference between the SPFL and non-league after last weekend's dramatic Scottish Cup 3rd round results.
Then ring the bell, it's the return of 'The Foot'se Index'. Hamilton's Lewis Smith is on the rise as he follows in the footsteps of some other bright young things, Salim Kouider-Aissa - 'the best striker in the country' according to Craig Telfer - is at the top of his game after a spell in the Juniors, Keiron Bowie, the tank-like young striker banging in goals for Raith gets some attention and Ryan Jack is the most improved player in the Premiership.

Robert Borthwick turns up with a big scroll in 'Social Media Hot Pocket' to discuss the best social media escapades from Scottish football in 2019. From Tommy Wright missing the water bottles, to Accies one-page fixture schedule, to Tierney meltdowns and Boy George's Ryan Jack love, finishing off with a deep dive into the 2019 Celtic Christmas video.

It's awards season as the team delve into who deserves a coveted 'Golden Terrace' this year. Livingston midfielder Marvin Bartley is on hand to give them a hand in presenting and awarding the prestigious honours for the likes of 'Shiteing it in a big game', 'Least Surprising Thing of the Year' and 'Team of the Year'. Marvin is also on hand to also make a lot of jokes about Hearts, while Craig Fowler reveals some quite disturbing personal details.

In 'Future Headlines', Craig Fowler predicts relatively big things for Jack Ross and Hibs while Shaughan thinks four teams are in the title race in League One, making it the most exciting divisions in Scotland and possibly the world.

In 'Bank or Bust' who will take home the Eamonn Brophy Lone Wolf Trophy for Christmas, New Year and the dead weeks in January before the show returns? All we'll say is one Craig wins and one Craig loses. And that there will be confetti.

Away from the studio, from the clack of boots and the stringing of nets, to sighs and cheers, to pies and beers, it’s 'One Saturday'; a day like no other. After that, we ask that age old question: 'Can a child fix Scottish football?' And if you think that we should be turning people into cats, the answer is a definitive yes.

In 'Last Minute Winner' Chris McQueer has another alternative football bedtime story, 'Yer On', this time about being plucked from the stand to play for your team. How could it go wrong? Show less
