A capacity crowd will be at Wembley to see the Lionesses take on two-time world champions Germany, with over 80,000 fans roaring on Phil Neville’s side in today's friendly.
The game will break the previous record attendance for a women's football match in Britain, which came at the 2012 Olympics. The English team reached the semi-finals at this summer's World Cup but endured something of a post-tournament hangover, going five games without a victory and losing their most recent home match to Brazil. They did, however, return to winning ways last month in a narrow win in Portugal.
