Ten-year-old William and 13-year-old Ellis are two boys who love ballet dancing. They are both determined to pursue their passion and do not care about any negative comments. They dance in an all-boys ballet group and are defying the gender stereotypes that ballet is for girls.
Through their love of dance, the boys have learnt confidence, discipline and teamwork. The group regularly perform together and bring much joy to their local community. Ballet has not only been a hobby but a form of rehabilitation for the boys - for William, ballet has improved his behaviour at school and for Ellis dancing has helped him recover from a major hip operation.
