Series 2

Episode 1

Duration: 1 hour

First broadcast: on BBC ScotlandLatest broadcast: on BBC One Scotland HD

Phone Johnny Flair, because the boys are back in town!

A View from the Terrace is back and the team is going off like milk in the sun. This is a jam-packed episode as the studio team starts the show with wild statements about the season ahead after just six games.

In FrankenBaller, the boys then build their own Scottish football monster from the constituent parts of Scottish players. Can a big-brained, gangly armed, fast-moving, one-legged player make it to the top of the pile?

In See Ya Later Debater, Mr Dinosaur rears his head to make a case for managers not getting the sack, and Joel makes a case for counting nearly goals, or as he calls it xG. Our Digital Field Reporter Robert Borthwick returns from the world wide web to show us all that is happening out on the Scottish footballing cyberscape.

In Future Headlines, the team pops on their imagination caps and predicts what the stories in the near future will be after this week’s action. Bank or Bust is back, and this time it is serious, as there is a trophy at stake, and it isn’t just any old trophy, it is the Eamon Brophy Lone Wolf Trophy and it is GOLD.

Outside the studio, we go to Cove to look at the ambition of Scotland’s new team in town and Duncan and Duncan rummage around with some balls and try to make a friend for life as Duncan puts in a shift doing the Tunnock’s Wafer Challenge Cup draw.

The show is ended by skidding into the valley. It IS season two of A View from the Terrace, it meant everything and it meant nothing. Show less
