Otis the Great Dane faces serious surgery after suddenly becoming paralysed. With damaged discs pressing on his spinal cord, vet Scott Rigg has to perform delicate surgery, which isn’t easy on a 62kg dog.
At Five Sister’s Zoo, vet Romain Pizzi wants to anaesthetise Dali, a two-metre long Crocodile Monitor, so that he can examine its mouth. It takes a team of six to handle the lizard.
