An treas streath a’ leantail Chaluim MhicIlleathain a’ snàmh ann an uisgeachan reòite ann an àrainneachd iomallach. Tha Calum airson a h-uile seòrsa snàimh a dhèanamh agus rinn e liosta pearsanta dheth na lochan agus uisgeachan a bu mhiann leis snamh. Tòrr dheth na h-àiteachan ‘s fheàrr leis, chan eil iad air an sanasachd agus feumaidh snàmhadair oidhirp air leth an ruighinn.
Anns a’ phrògram-sa, bidh Calum a’ snàmh aig loch gu math mòr agus domhainn ach nach eil fhathast aithnichte mar loch-snàimh. Sin Loch Mòrair. Cuiridh snàmh ann an uisge domhainn eagal air tòrr ach seo suideachadh a bhitheas a’ còrdadh ri Calum! Tha an loch gu math faisg air a’ mhuir le beanntan ga chuartachadh agus ann an beachd Chalum, ‘s e aon den fheadhainn as àlainne ann an Alba!
Calum Maclean shares his passion for wild swimming in remote lochs and rivers, and in this episode he takes a dip in beautiful Loch Morar - one of the biggest and deepest lochs in Scotland!
The loch is near the sea, surrounded by hills, and remains largely unknown to wild swimmers. Swimming in deep lochs can prove challenging, but Calum thrives on testing his skills and discovering new waters. He has made a personal wish-list of places he has always wanted to visit and swim in. Loch Morar is one such location!
