This week Alex and Steph are in Leigh-on-Sea with the Tulino family. Mum, Antonietta lives with her three children, Ellis, Alessandro and Lucas. Antonietta has her own holistic therapy business which she juggles with being mum. Her passion for home interiors means she loves her home to look nice, and she has a growing range of throws, cushions and candles, and a collection of 11 chandeliers! Her love of flowers means she buys at least six bouquets of fresh flowers every week.
Antonietta doesn’t just spend on her home, as she’s determined her children will want for nothing. Like most teenagers, Ellis loves to look good, and Mum does everything she can to help her feel good about herself as Ellis has been bullied since she was in year 7. Antonietta knows that buying Ellis make-up, clothes and perfume gives her a much-needed confidence boost, but she also knows she can’t keep spending the way she does. With only one income, money is tight, and she really wants to start saving for the children’s future. With so much going on and some highly emotional factors at stake, can Alex and Steph turn this family around and help them start saving, rather than spending? Show less
