Punjab United is a small semi-professional football team based in Gravesend, Kent. The club was set up and is run by British Sikhs, but players from any background are welcome. Gravesend has one of the largest Sikh communities in the country and one of the largest gurdwaras outside India. They have had a successful couple of years, being promoted twice, and now find themselves in the Southern Counties East league. But this season things are not going smoothly. For the first time ever the team are facing a relegation battle, and the stresses are starting to show. But will the bonds made in times of triumph hold strong when their backs are against the wall?
