YolanDa kicks off the show with a song all about pitch called “Bass Face” and then welcomes world-renowned sitar player Anoushka Shankar to the jam. Anoushka shows off her beautifully sculpted sitar and explains how to play it. YolanDa then gets the Band Jammers involved with a fun game called “Sitar versus Guitar”. In the Fact Jam, we find out how the sitar was played in the courts of Indian emperors and how they showed respect by playing in bare feet. A short film features a partially sighted young girl experiencing her first piano concert. Finally, Anoushka returns for the big Band Jam at the end of the show. Show less
