Another chance to hear Barry Humphries on the nation's favourite radio station with his Turntable Time Machine and in this special two-hour Christmas show celebrating the Age of the Wireless. He plays the original, rarely-heard opening verse of Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’ and reveals how Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was actually born in Chicago.

Barry also explains how he came to be sacked from his Christmas job in a top Melbourne Department Store and reveals his sadness that he's never received a Christmas card from Dame Edna, who is spending this Christmas on the Island of Mustique.

There'll be music from: Judy Garland, Jimmy Durante, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Spike Milligan, Gert & Daisy, Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire... plus there'll be a rare recording from Santa Claus himself!
