Between 1932 and 1947 ARTUR SCHNABEL recorded all five of Beethoven's Piano Concertos, most of them more than once. Over the Easter weekend we are broadcasting the complete concertos, using records from three different periods - the early 30s. the war years in the USA and the post-war period back in London.
