The Rev. Douglas Griffiths, who is conducting the People's Services on the Sundays in April, and also on Good Friday, was for six years Secretary of the Methodist Association of Youth Clubs. Last year he volunteered to take over a tough job in South Lambeth, and he is now Minister of 'Friendship House,' the Springfield Methodist Church in Wandsworth Road. 'Friendship House' is an attempt to realise the true spirit of Christian fellowship by building up a community life in which all activities, work and recreation, home and club, find their centre in worship.
