This film tells the dramatic true story of a manhunt which took place between the spring of 1931 and 17 February 1932 in the frozen Far North of Canada.
The Royal Canadian Mounties, using nine dog teams and, for the first time in history, two-way radio and an aeroplane, armed with guns and dynamite, took 54 days to track the man down. To this day no one knows who the man was: they called him the Mad Trapper.
