Following the government's tightening of the rules on immigration, the number of people seeking asylum in this country has dropped significantly. While some believe that the rules do notgo far enough and the door on asylum seekers should be shut altogether, others are concerned that in tryingto stop "bogus" applicants, Britain is notfulfilling its moral obligation to large numbers of genuine cases.
