Zoo

on BBC One London

The series about life at London Zoo and Whipsnade Park.

Bonito, a young male giant anteater, has arrived by special delivery from Germany. Head keeper Frank Wheeler prepares him a meal - which doesn't include any ants. At Whipsnade another newcomer is creating a stir. Tanase, a baby pygmy hippopotamus, has done well since her birth nearly a month ago and is about to attend her first press conference. Back in London, a young ring-tailed coati - a raccoon-like mammal - is being trained by Andy Hallsworth before making her debut in the "Animals in Action" show.
