Singer Lili Smith is the darling of the British forces during World War I. She is also a spy for German Intelligence in Berlin. On the eve of her departure for France to receive the Legion of Honour, she is given a new assignment: to find out about the Allies' plans for their new military aircraft. The result is a spectacular and very unusual mixture of delightful, tongue-in-cheek comedy and exciting aerial dog-fights.
