An international gala concert, recorded at Symphony Hall in Birmingham, in celebration of the life and work of the late Group Captain Lord Cheshire of Woodhall.
Featuring the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Big Band, conducted by Stanley Black and Wing Cmdr Barrie
Hingley. With Humphrey Lyttelton and His Band and members of the Glenn Miller Band. A tribute is read by Robert Hardy.
