Geoffrey Smith presents the third of five programmes on the French jazz violinist
Stephane Grappelli. In 1954, Grappelli left Britain to live in Paris again, where he began to work with the younger generation of jazz musicians, including Jean-Luc Ponty. He also recorded with Joe Venuti , Stuff Smith , Gary Burton and Duke Ellington.
