Choice: Children: Why 5: 4.35pm BBC1
The show that aims to demystify some of the wonders of science by cleverly linking five seemingly unrelated objects returns to our screens with the enthusiastic Ortis as presenter. Subjects are as diverse as genetics, probability, gravity and the history of the vacuum cleaner, while Ortis has fun dressing up as a number of historical characters. (JR)
