Paul Nurse , who last year was jointly awarded the Nobel Prize for medicine for his ground-breaking research into the causes of cancer. His musical choices range from medieval Spanish songs, through Handel, Beethoven, Schubert and Shostakovich to Brahms's German Requiemand operas by Benjamin Britten and Philip Glass.
