Comic-tinged road movie set in 1969. Inspired by the imminent Apollo XI lunar mission, eccentric professor Washington Bellamy and his son Andy embark on a journey equal in length to the distance between the Earth and the Moon. But unbeknown to them, agoraphobic wife and mother Katherine has managed to leave the house and has set out on their trail, and soon the pol ice have also joined the chase. Widescreen.
