When a group of Idealist young friends are struggling to maintain their commune, set up as an alternative to 'modern living' financial aid comes to the rescue in the form of their landlord and original benefactor, a businessman and rich uncle of one of the team. But the 'uncle's' magnanimity, not to mention his seemingly innocent eagerness to learn their skills of self-sufficiency, hides a less than honourable motive.
