Last autumn 1,000 singers from 14 choirs assembled in London for the tenth festival of 1,000 Welsh Voices organised by the London Welsh Male Voice Choir. One choir had crossed the Atlantic to take part, the Abu Bekr Shrine Chanters from Sioux City, Iowa, USA, visiting London as a choir for the first time.
