On Saturday afternoon at Wembley Stadium, 100,000 fortunate ticket-holders and countless millions of television viewers will witness one of Britain's traditional sporting occasions, the 100th FA Challenge Cup Final - a far cry from the 2,000 spectators for the first Final at Kennington Oval in 1872. Cup Final history is littered with shock victories, drama and dispute, coincidence and controversy, and tonight JOHN MOTSON recalls some of those magic moments with the great soccer characters of this annual event.
