The Life and Times of Sir Noël Coward
The years 1929-31 were perhaps the most successful and certainly the most productive of Coward's entire career: with Bitter Sweet established on both sides of the Atlantic, he went on in quick succession to write and star in Private Lives and to write and stage Cavalcade. Those two shows are this week recalled by members of their original casts, and scenes from Cavalcade are given a new studio production.
