Mickey Rooney and Lizabeth Scott Former funeral director Mickey King is now a successful pulp-fiction writer working under a dozen pseudonyms and enjoying life in the sun of his Mediterranean home. But when he is approached by a gangsterish executive, Ben Dinuccio , to be the ghost writer for a mysterious celebrity he soon finds himself trapped in a sinister intrigue which could well be one of his own plots....
