The Sacred Horses of Tamil Nadu

The villagers of south India have dedicated huge clay horses to their protector, the god Ayanar. They are carried in a festive ritual to the open-air temple where they join hundreds of others placed there through the centuries. This is the first time that the festival has been recorded on film.
