Michael Buerk appeals on behalf of Polioplus Fund UKIG which is part of a World Health Organisation plan to immunise children throughout the Third World against diseases like polio, measles and tuberculosis. At present 60 million children born each year are not being immunised and one in six is dying of a preventable disease. Whatever you can give will save young, precious lives.
