THE DALES

on Light Programme

Produced by JOHN RICHMOND and EILEEN CULLEN
Script by Barbara Clegg
Repeated Tuesday, 11.15 a.m.
David's headaches have been growing more severe and just after seeing Billy off to his boarding school he collapsed in the station. He was admitted to hospital and a brain operation was performed. Since then, the main pre-occupation of the Dale family has been with David's recovery. Mr. Welch-Smith has been making enquiries as to the extent of David's illness and Gwen suspects his motives. Mrs. Dale was attacked by a diddicoy on a lonely stretch of road and was saved by Tom Draycott.
