Masters of Rock

on BBC Radio 2

New series 1/6. Iron Maiden singer
Bruce Dickinson returns with a new series tracing the evolution of hard rock and heavy metal, kicking off with Kiss. The New
York-based band formed in 1973, inspired by the theatrical rush of glam, with particular attention to the cheeky excesses of the face-painted master of flamboyance, Alice Cooper. Among the defining Kiss hits were Rock and Roll All
Nite, Shout It Out Loud, Beth, / Was Made for Lovin' You, Crazy Crazy Nights and God Gave Rock & Roll to You 2.
