The Cinematograph Films Council recently submitted to the Board of Trade its recommendations for the revision of the Act of 1938 (which expires next year), including proposals for a general increase in the ' exhibitors quota '-the minimum proportion of British films that must be included in cinema programmes. Tonight Miss Powell reviews the manifold implications of the proposed quota changes
