Only once before has a running commentary been given on the Oxford and Cambridge sports, and that was as long ago as March 26, 1927-the meeting at Queen's Club. Today the sports are being held at the White City, and H. M. Abrahams , the famous athlete and well-known broadcaster, will give a running commentary on the Mile and the 446 Yards. While these are being run, other events will be taking place, and listeners are sure to hear the loudspeaker announcing results from the middle of the ground. Abrahams will break off to pass these on, and then continue with his running commentary.
