The Visit

on BBC One London

A series of five inspirational stories each of which focuses on aspects of the human spirit. Bomb Disposal Man. They stand between us and death by terrorism - the bomb disposal men of the Royal Army
Ordnance Corps. They are hand-picked, psychologically screened and then trained on one of the Army's longest and most expensive technical courses. They regard it as a job requiring skill and care.
They prefer not to talk about courage but they also know that is exactly what it takes to make 'the long walk' to deal with a car bomb, a booby trap, or a missile that has misfired.
The Visit follows officers and men working in this dangerous front-line job. With Desmond Wilcox.
