Trooping The Colour

Her Majesty The Queen takes the salute on Horse Guards Parade, London, to mark the occasion of her official birthday.
The Parade is the tribute by the Household Division to the Sovereign and their Colonel-in-Chief and is the most complex and spectacular military event of the year. The Queen's Colour of the 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards is being trooped. The Parade, by tradition, is in five parts.
The Inspection of the Line
The eight Guards and Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry are inspected by the Queen. The Troop by the Massed Bands, Corps of Drums and Pipes and Drums of the Household Division. Trooping The Colour through the ranks. The March Past by the Guards in slow and quick time.
The Rank Past by the Household Cavalry at the walk and at the trot.
