A series of special interest to teachers, parents and children, Out of School previews some of the BBC's future output for schools. Programmes today are for Primary Schools and on Wednesday and Thursday for Secondary Schools.

1.55 Words and Pictures: The Animals in the Ark
One of a series of programmes designed to help with reading through story-telling. It is intended for children of 6-8 years and will be transmitted next term, and in 1971.

About the coats of arms of Dudley in Worcestershire, the programme is from an environmental studies series for 9-11 years, runs throughout the year and will continue in 1970-71.
