Continuing the Watching the Detectives season is this sequel to the classic police thriller In the Heat of the Night.
Starring Sidney Poitier Martin Landau
Following the savage murder of a young prostitute, Lt Virgil Tibbs receives an anonymous telephone call implicating the Rev Sharpe , a crusading local minister and friend. Tibbs finds himself torn between personal loyalty and the need to solve a violent crime.
