What price prosperity?
Introduced by Robin Day
A cure for inflation ... a rising standard of living ... industrial peace ... and jobs for all-common ideals in the midst of Britain's economic crisis but how do we turn the ideals into reality?
Tonight, leaders of industry, the City and the trade unions come forward individually to present their answer, their chosen route to economic stability, before each in turn is questioned by senior politicians - men who themselves are responsible for the overall policy.
It's a TV ' think-tank' to explore different ways to make Britain prosperous.
